2/20 BUGS VS. RAYZ

NO ROOM FOR SLOW START
Corpus Christi is one of the best road teams in the Central Hockey League (14-6-5) and it's likely the Mudbugs aren't exactly well-rested after their 4,000-mile journey. But that only emphasizes the importance for Bossier-Shreveport to start strong tonight. Captain Dan Wildfong was looking for a little help from the fans in today's paper, but being a midweek game, there won't be the 7,000 fans in the house we've seen for the past handful of games at CTC.
My belief is the team that comes out and sets the tone early will emerge with the W.
The Rayz will not allow the thrilling comebacks Colorado and Rocky Mountain did.

DECARO VS. ZELENEWICH
It's John DeCaro in net for the Mudbugs against Brent Zelenewich for the Corpus Christi Rayz. Daniel Pegoraro is back in the lineup for the Mudbugs after missing two games with a mouth injury. The rookie is the leading scorer for the Bugs and missed time after taking a slap shot to the mouth in Colorado on Wednesday.
Ken Carroll is back in uniform for the first time since tearing an MCL in December.
