ROOKIE MISTAKE PUTS BUGS IN HOLE
The first period is over and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs allowed just two shots, but they trail 1-0 after a huge rookie mistake by defenseman Brian Sutherland.
Sutherland coughed up the puck right in front of Ken Carroll and Jonathan Robert picked up the loose rubber and beat Ken Carroll, who was completely caught off guard.
The Mudbugs are 0-4 on the power play and are not improving their palty numbers with the man-advantage.

Superman will look to get the Mudbugs back on track tonight at the CenturyTel Center. The Mudbugs are 4-0 at the CTC this season.
